SO -- banning women's access to health care provided birth control is protecting women's freedoms, but forcing them to undergo a procedure which is not medically necessary for an abortion is not. Or maybe it is. To understand it, you have to be a GOP nit-wit. To quote a Virginia Democratic legislator -- "This bill will require many women in Virginia to undergo vaginal penetration with an ultrasound probe against their consent in order to exercise their constitutional right to an abortion, even for nonsurgical, noninvasive, pharmaceutical abortions.  This kind of government intrusion shocks the conscience and demonstrates the disturbing lengths Republican legislators will go to prevent women from controlling their own reproductive destiny." Enjoy your right to vote this fall, ladies -- because it might just be your last vote for a while. OH, did I mention this guy is sniffing around for a Vice Presidential slot...?!?
